Different Qualifications

What is the difference between (psychologist / Master Social Work / Intern / Candidat par voie d'équivalence / other types of therapists at PsyMontreal/PsyVitaliti)?

" All of our therapists will offer you the highest quality cognitive behavior therapy. Some therapists, such as interns, stagiaires and Candidat par voie d'équivalence (Québec ONLY) are also closely supervised by a member of their professional order or college, so it’s like getting two professionals helping you at the same time. "

We do not have Psychiatrist

Q: A lot of callers are being very specific on which therapist to book based on credentials because their insurance company has guidelines. All of the stagiaires have a supervised psychotherapist/Psychologist that will be stated on the receipt? So we dont need to worry if the stagiaires has a masters in social work lets say..

A: Yes, all of our stagiaires (we now have them listed as “Master’s Candidate” or “Doctorate”) on the booking tool are supervised by a licensed professional, who’s name and license number will be stated on the receipt. In Quebec the supervisors are all psychologists, but in the other provinces their titles vary.
